DF Design Group is a dedicated team of design/build professionals committed to helping you maximize the performance of your Home Theater investment by creating a room to fit your budget, that not only sounds great but captures the look and feeling of being in a real theater.

After completing several home theater projects we realized that there was a niche market for people who had already spent a sizable amount of money on equipment but now were left with a bare room to put it in. DF Design Group addresses that market by custom making and installing acoustical wall panels at prices far below the competition.

Our Team

Deborah A. Ferraro | Founder and President

Deborah’s love of decorating and over 20 years of business experience as an owner/manager provides a strong foundation for DF Design Group. The Home Theater market was a special interest as she discovered that there weren’t a lot of company’s out there providing this kind of service for a reasonable price. DF Design Group addresses this market with significant cost savings through design innovation.

Louis J. Lepold | Design and Installation

Louis brings over 30 years of expertise to DF Design Group. He was formerly the Vice President of a manufacturing operation specializing in acoustical partitions for the office furniture industry. This experience has made him invaluable to the company as it is he who created the acoustical wall panels we now use. In addition to making the panels he personally insures that the installation of every project ends with a satisfied customer.

Susan T. Ferraro | Design Consultant

Susan is a graduate of the prestigious Parsons School of Design in New York and currently holds the position of handbag designer for Banana Republic. Susan is consulted on every design project and adds her years of design experience, her flair for colors and her expertise in interior design to the projects.

Thistledown Interiors is an interior decorating and design business located in Camp Hill, PA. They have received the coveted “Best of” rating from Citysearch and we work with them to provide you with many of the accessory products for your home theater, such as seating, wall sconces and carpeting, allowing us to be a full service, one stop shopping source for all your home theater needs.

David B. Teter | Furniture Finishing

With over 28 years of experience, David Teter, Furniture Finishing, has a background that encompasses all phases of the woodworking industry. These skills include: cabinet making, finishing, complete refinishing, restoration, touchup, custom color matching and repairs. He is able to do on site touchup, finishing and repairs, as well as offer a full service shop. Pickup and delivery are also offered for all furniture.
